About the Competition
The Brisbane International Youth Music Competition (BIYMC) is a prestigious event that welcomes young musicians from around the world. Regardless of performance level, participants receive professional feedback from esteemed judges and have the opportunity to perform at the final Gala concert with the BIYMC Orchestra.
Our Mission
Established in 2012 by renowned violinist and educator Emin Tagiev, BIYMC is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering a culturally enriched future generation. Our volunteers are committed to inspiring young individuals to appreciate music, regardless of their future career paths. We believe that music, as a universal language, unites people across diverse backgrounds and plays a vital role in human development.
