Our Story
Founded in 2001 by Emin Tagiev, the Tagiev School of Music offers an ideal environment for the development of musically gifted young string players. By combining the personalized attention of a small institution with the resources of major global educational establishments, we provide unique, innovative, and progressive instrumental programs recognized both nationally and internationally.
Achievements
Our graduates have advanced their studies at esteemed institutions worldwide, including the Royal Academy of Music in London, the Juilliard School in New York, the Academy of Music in Toronto, and the Australian Academy of Music in Melbourne. Under the leadership of founder Emin Tagiev and our dedicated teaching team, the school and the Tagiev Chamber Orchestra have earned prestigious accolades, such as a gold medal at the 18th Australian International Music Festival in Sydney in 2007 and an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York.
