Tagiev School of Music was founded in 2001 by Emin Tagiev to provide the ideal conditions in which musically gifted young strings players could develop their potential. Tagiev School of Music combines the benefits of being small with the opportunities that only offered by much bigger educational establishments around the world. School provides unique, innovative and progressive instrumental programme recognized nationally and internationally. Graduates of Tagiev School of Music continued their tertiary education in well known musical institution in the world such as Royal Academy of Music in London , Julliard School of Music in New York, Academy of Music in Toronto, Australian Academy of Music in Melbourne and more.

The School and its students, as well as the Tagiev Chamber Orchestra, have received many prestigious accolades. This includes a highly sought-after Gold Medal at the 18th Australian International Music Festival in Sydney in 2007 and an invitation to perform a concert at the iconic Carnegie Hall in New York City. Members of TCO participated in many international music tours and were privileged to perform in Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, China, USA where their extraordinary talent was highly regarded by appreciative audience and professional musicians.
